The nib on this Dip Pen is the same as the MD Fountain Pen so it is easier to use even if using it for the first time. The shaft is made from a synthetic resin called Mapuka and covered with paper powder. The pen has a ridged shape with a soft paper texture that feels comfortable to use. Medium nib.
