Kyo no Oto

The colours of the inks in this series date back to the Heian era of Japan (approximately 1000 years ago) and were created following consultation with craftsmen and experts in this field. the cuckoo logo is based on ancient haiku poetry and in particular a poem by Basho Matsuo who was the most famous poet in 17th century Japan.
