The designers of this recently formed company were tasked with utilising the exceptional skills developed in working with hard materials such as the steel used in these products to produce items which a high stamdard of both modern and practical design.   • Ishikawa

    Ishikawa Paper Goods Lty company was founded by Doshun Ishikawa, adopted son of the Ishikawa fmily that manufactured Mino Washi paper, at the age of 17. He then grew the company by branching out into other areas of paper production and became an influential member of Yoseigumi which waas a powerful group of paper-making companies that exited between the Meiji and Showa eras of Japanese history. He also served as the president of the National Paper Materials union and later in his life gave back to the community which had given him so much be becoming a councillor of the twown for 20 years.

    Now in its 5th generation, the current preisdent of the company Mr Michihiro Ishikawa continues to develop new paper gift products and to be an active and positive participant in the local community.

  • King Jim

    King Jim began in 1927 as Meikando when it sold address books and sealing stamp books. In 1961 the founder decided that he wanted the company to be the king of stationery so renamed his company King Jim. Their core range is the G File developed in 1964 which is still considered to be the standard files for offices in Japan today followed by the TEPRA label maker which was launched in 1988. We are working with them now on their art stationery series Hitotoki and hope that you enjoy working with these wonderful products too.

    Imabari Towels is the name given to the quality towels and related fabric items made in the Imabari area of Ehime prefecture in Japan for over 130 years. The plentiful soft and pure water of this region produces the softest threads in saturated colours and there is a stringent testing process that must be passed before a company may apply the sought after logo to their products.

    These scarves do come with the distinctive label and when you feel the fabric, you will understand.

    All have a high absorption ability and are quick-dry. Machine washable on a gentle cycle.
